I'm not sure if this makes me crazy or not, but to me, this seriously looks like one of the coolest things ever...
And I think if I were ever presented the chance to do this, I would.
Man. How rad would that be...

Uh...
Ever have those days where you have lots to say, but you don't know how to say it?
Or you're supposed to do things but you're tired and so it makes them difficult?
Or you've been thinking about something for so long that now you can't get it past the 'thought' stage so it just stays trapped in your brain?
Or getting an average of 3 hours of sleep each night is starting to wear you down and so all your thoughts get confused and scrambled, and even though you want to untangle them, you don't have enough energy to do so?
Yea, I've had those days.

Reading List Update
So... A few weeks ago I posted a reading list. I've been working away at it, slowly. A bit of reading here and there, on the bus, getting off the computer, etc. Now it's time to update my list a bit...
I must say, I haven't read as much as I had hoped I would've, but I can always improve. Anway, of the 12 books, I've finished 5, am halfway through 2 others, and won't finish 1 until the end of the year (as it's 'A Year with CS Lewis')
My list of finished book so far...
Mere Christianity CS Lewis (reread)
The Narnian Alan Jacobs
The Pillars of the Earth Ken Follett
Where is God When it Hurts Philip Yancey (reread)
Walking After Midnight Katy Hutchinson (reread)
Books over halfway through
The Shack Wm. Paul Young (rereading)
The Cloister Walk Kathleen Norris
Victory Over the Darkness Neil T. Anderson (rereading)
Books I've just started(*)/haven't started
Jesus Freaks dc Talk and The Voice of the Martyrs
Miles to Cross Mike Howerton *
Surprised by Hope N.T. Wright *
Of the books I've read, I can't choose a favourite out of Mere Christianity, The Narnian, or Pillars of the Earth... I'd recommened them to everyone.
I'd post more, but I don't feel like it. :]

Oil Painting #1
So, I just finished my first oil painting (I think).
Anyway, I thought I'd post a picture...
To clarify, I think I just finished my first oil painting.
It definitely is my first painting using oil paints. I just think I'm finished.

I am trying to be finished.
Trying not to "touch it up" or "adjust" it anymore.
It's very difficult not to pick up a paintbrush and keep going.
Especially since the paint stays wet for approx 48 hours.
It's just sitting on my easel in my room, begging to be altered.
Anyway, I thought I'd post a picture...
Unfortunately, niether picture is too good, so I'll post both picture I took so you can get a pretty good idea of it.

3 (quick) things.
Okay, so I haven't posted in awhile... I've had some other things on the go, and sadly, blogging isn't a top priority...
Hopefully soon I'll be back to sharing some "deep" thoughts with you, but for now, here's some light and fluffy stuff which has been going on lately...
* * *
This evening, my sister and I rented a movie, just for fun. Honestly, it was the best $4 I've spent in a long time, although the film was pretty terrible. What happens when High School Musical meets the old JC? Sunday School Musical. It wasn't as 'Jesus loves me' as I thought it was going to be, but when it finished with "His Eye Is On The Sparrow " I laughed.
Watching things like this always makes me wonder... What do people who aren't Christians think of us?
For you enjoyment, here's a clip for you to watch...
* * *
Do you ever have dreams where you wake up and question whether it was a dream or not? I've been doing that a lot lately... It's amazing how capable our imaginations are of creating memories. Amazing and scary.
* * *
One last thing before I go to bed... I got a new art set for my birthday, and yesterday I started a painting... No where near being finished yet, but I thought I'd post a picture up here for, like, feedback or something. It's missing lots of pieces right now (like hair) but, in a few weeks, I'm hoping it will look pretty good...

Okay, that's all for now.
Bye!
