To clarify, I think I just finished my first oil painting.
It definitely is my first painting using oil paints. I just think I'm finished.

I am trying to be finished.
Trying not to "touch it up" or "adjust" it anymore.
It's very difficult not to pick up a paintbrush and keep going.
Especially since the paint stays wet for approx 48 hours.
It's just sitting on my easel in my room, begging to be altered.
Anyway, I thought I'd post a picture...
Unfortunately, niether picture is too good, so I'll post both picture I took so you can get a pretty good idea of it.

I don't think there's anything 'lacking' about it! You've pretty much hit the jackpot!
I wasn't suggesting it WAS lacking. I was allowing her the 'out' of saying it looks better in picture form than in person. I know I would feel self-conscious of such overt surprise and joy.
Stick to your own comments... you'd already left yours! - or, why don't you spend time updating your own blog for once.
